Song: "Where's the Party?"- Madonna (old school)
Mood: Tired
It's been a while since I last wrote... I think it was before our BBQ/Reception that we had. I already got all the bitching out of my system (thanks to Aimee) but seriously... it was a bit disappointing. We had more than 100 people here and we got a combined 30 gifts and cards. We got like $300 in gift cards and about $100 in cash. That's all she wrote folks... there were so many people that didn't even bring a card. I think it's a bit tacky to go to someone's reception and not even give them a card... but that's just me I guess. The people that we TOTALLY didn't expect anything from gave us the most (isn't that they way is always goes).
So that was the 5th of August... and instead of having Steve's oh-so-best man doing the grilling as he was asked, we ended up doing it all ourselves (and BIG thanks to Matt and Aimee for coming early to help). I truely believe that it's events like that-- that show you who your real friends are.
Anyway-- I had my AGD advisor meeting and was informed that I'm not doing Membership as I anticipated-- I'm now doing Finances (AHHHHH). So scary-- I know NOTHING about managing the finances of the chapter.
We went to Pub 13 on Friday the 11th for Christy Bledsoe's birthday. It was fun... expensive but fun. I always forget that we end up dropping like $75 every time we go there. It's insane... they must rack in the dough each weekend.
Saturday we went to our Main Dish session for the month. Nothing too exciting there. Sunday I went to a Tastefully Simple party with Aimee... so much fun. I think I want to have a party myself!! I got a bunch of stuff but it's not in yet (damn it).
I have become an Arbonne International consultant... I have a "pamper party" to go to on Friday (I'm getting a pedi). Should be fun... we'll see how I do selling this stuff.
On Thursday, my mom and I are going to lunch with Steve. She'll get to see where he works (the cube farm) and taste Thai for the first time (it's sooooooo good). I'm excited!!
Sunday we're going to the Tigers vs. Rangers game at Comerica. That should be enjoyable... and that's about it. Monday I'm going to go to school and get my classlist and send out my postcards.
I'm going to go to bed right now because I am really sleepy. Nite!!
>^..^<
PS- Did I blog about my new car? I don't think I did... I got a 2005 Ford Escape Limited and it's kick ass!!

I'm sorry to hear about your disappointment... :( It makes me sad! I'm happy everything else is going well though, and I'm glad you know who your true friends are, I hate the painful stuff that lets you know, but I guess that's how God has it set up :) Love you!
That was the longest run-on sentence ever!
