I love Nicholas Sparks, so I was eager to read this as soon as it was available. It started off a little darker than the usual sappy Sparks books, but it ended up being really good.
It has action, love, romance, and a little bit of the paranormal to make it a different read. I recommend it and think most readers that like Sparks will enjoy this as well!

Within the first 10 pages, I actually knew what was going to happen throughout the whole book, and, with the exception of a RIDICULOUS twist at the end (I see someone pulled out his DVD of The Sixth Sense before writing this book....), I was spot on. A book that attempts to cater to the lowest common denominator and somehow, fails on every level. I will have to find something intelligent to read to rebuild the brain cells lost reading this book. Save yourselves! You've been warned!
Sorry that you didn't enjoy this book! What do you expect from Nicholas Sparks though? Honestly.
