A Month of Gratitude: Day 4

Day 4: Motherhood

I think the greatest joy that I've ever known, is becoming a mother. While it's not happy around here ALL the time, it's amazing 99% of the time. I love my kids and I love that I'm a mom.

I am a mother because of the selfless act of another individual. The yearning to become a mom seemed to be never ending. I prayed and prayed for God to bless me with a baby. Not only did He answer my prayers, He answered them in His own special way.

I can't remember my life before Gus and Hugh. They really light up my life and I feel so privileged to be the one they call "mama."

I am so thankful to be a mother.
