Day 269

September 26th, 2010

September 26th, 2011

Gus woke up this morning in a terrific mood and we had a GREAT day!! It didn't hurt that I went to bed at a decent hour last night (9:30) for the first time in a really long time!

Gus did wake up around 4:30 and needed to be changed, but he was back to sleep in no time after. Steve was wide-awake and not able to get back to sleep, which totally sucked for him.

We finally got up around 7:45ish and went down for the morning.

We had breakfast and watched some television, listened to some music, danced, and played. It was time for a nap at 11:00.

Gus took a good nap and while I should have started my next module (Focus on Medical Specialities) I got sucked into Pinterest instead. I enjoyed the time on Pinterest so much more than I would have enjoyed class!! :-)

Gus got up and we went down for lunch. The afternoon was spent playing and then at 4:00 he went down for his afternoon nap.

Steve got home and we headed to Mamma Mia for dinner. We had one last Twongo certificate to use by the 30th, so we decided to go tonight. Our dinner was delicious and Cirro (the owner) waited on us. He knew exactly what we wanted to order, and had our caprese already ordered when he saw us walking in the door. Now that's why we like going there!!!

Gus must be in another phase where he doesn't eat much. He had some cheese and then that's it. He didn't want any of his ravioli. :(  I guess he can have it for lunch tomorrow.

We got home and Steve and Gus enjoyed some playtime on the floor together. Gus certainly loves his daddy!!!

We got Gus ready for bed and he got the "baby crazies" for a bit. Poor Bing Clawsby ran for cover!!

Crazy boy on the loose!!

Tomorrow we'll be going to the Little Gym. I asked Steve to try and either work from home next Tuesday or go in later, so he can go to class with us. Not only would he really enjoy it, but I think Gus would be overjoyed. We'll see... I hope it can happen though!

Here are some pictures from a year ago:

See you tomorrow!!
