Day 96

Today was a pretty good day, towards the end it was rough because Gus wasn't feeling well and was tired. He was just cranky and wasn't crying, but was whining...

He got up this morning at 6am and didn't go back to sleep. Needless to say, I am really tired right now and I have a slight headache.

We went with Wendy to drop off K at pre-school and then the four of us headed to FV for the K14 Chick-Fil-A playdate. It was fine... a little odd and felt weird, but it was okay. Amie was there with Liz and then the really ugly lady with the moles on her face was there. Her son is a beast and has no discipline... he hits kids and is just a "wild" child. His mom laughs it off and says that she doesn't know what to do with him. She was reading a book about how not to raise a brat. Hmmm... at least she's trying right?

Anyway, we stayed there until a little after 11 and then Wendy dropped me off and I took Gus up for a nap. He napped for 45 minutes or so, and then I tried to feed him solids, and again, he refused. He just wanted the bottle. He sounds like he's getting a little better, but he still sounds bad. He was coughing a lot more today. :(

Steve got home and we went to the new Thai place in town called Thai Thai. It was okay... not the best Thai food that I've ever had, but not the worse either. It was rather bland, but it's probably because we get everything without spices (the spices make it really hot). Anyway, Gus fell asleep while we ate and then we hit Sonic on the way home for cream pie shakes (yummmm). We got home at watched Ellen and then it was time for Gus to go to bed.

There's a new OAR prompt that came today so I'm hoping to do that tomorrow. We don't have anything planned for tomorrow except maybe go grocery shopping. Steve is working late tomorrow night, so we'll be on our own for dinner. Friday we're going to go to Amie's for a movie and pj party. It's a MOMS Club event and I've been trying to avoid MC things due to the excessive drama, but it seems like fun.
