Day 288

I must say that I feel today was a very productive day! I saw something on weelicious.com about organizing your pantry, I watched the video and was super excited. I went on Amazon and picked a bunch of OXO organizers and put them on a wish list. I told Steve about it and he said once we're in a house, maybe after the new year I can start buying them a few at a time. They're awesome.

Anyway, I was inspired to try and organize the freezer (it was a HOT mess) and the pantry. I was able to tackle both while Gus was napping this morning and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Elmo has been visiting us quite often lately. Maybe two or three times a day... here's a quick picture (taken by Steve) of one of Elmo's visits today.

I wasn't able to get my phone to sync with the new operating system from Apple, so Steve did it for me today. Unfortunately, I was without a phone for the entire day. I did watch a lot of television, watched MSU beat U of M (Go Green) and watched Parenthood from this week. I seriously love that show!!

We were supposed to have dinner with A&W but it fell through. So instead, we decided to put Gus down for an afternoon nap (around 3:30) and then when he got up we headed to Outback for Steve's Unemployment Celebration Dinner.  :)

We had a GREAT dinner and even got free dessert (they screwed up Steve's filet). We shared the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under and it was devine!!

Here are other pictures from dinner:

We got home and Steve worked on some stuff for World 50. He starts on Monday and said it's going to feel so weird Monday morning to not wake up and head to Burt's. :(

I'm still very disappointed with our current realtor. He's not doing much for us and it's frustrating. He sent more houses today that are just hideous. I think Steve's going to call the guy that Eryn recommended and we'll see if we get anything good with him. If he doesn't work out, our last option is to contact the lady that our realtor here (Stan) recommended for us in Atlanta.

Here are some pictures from a year ago:

See you tomorrow. BTW-- the Tigers are totally blowing the series... makes me so sad.
