We got up at 4am on Sunday and got on the road back to NC by 4:30. Gus did really well on the drive and slept for six hours. He had a lot of catching up to do since he didn't really nap while we were in MI. Here are some pictures of him:
When we got to Holly Springs we were amazed at the destruction from the tornado. We have friends that took pictures and posted them on Facebook, and here are their pictures: (Thanks to Katie and Amie for their pictures)

Thankfully our house had power and no damage whatsoever. Our grill was in the same place that we left it, and the mulch and pine straw that Steve put down last week was still there.
We are very lucky.
