Day 92

What a wonderful day!! We got up this morning and Steve made his famous ham and cheesy hashbrown casserole. YUMMMM... then we played while Steve went out and put out the pine straw for the yard and mowed for the first time this year. I'm glad it's over with and he can relax tomorrow.

Did you know that today is my 1/2 birthday??? It is!!!

Do you celebrate your 1/2 birthday? I'm excited that Gus's 1/2 birthday is November 11th (Veteran's Day) and he'll always have the day off from school for us to celebrate!!!  :D

We dressed Gus for the Tigers vs. Yankees game... of course the Tigers lost, but we had to show our support. Here are some of my favorites from today:

Of course you can see that Gus doesn't like wearing a hat. It's a shame too, because he looks so darn cute with a hat on! Maybe when he's a little older he'll like wearing them.

After some pictures, Gus was put back into his "normal" clothes and he was playing in the livingroom. The sun was coming in and he was so funny... he tried to touch the sunlight on the carpet. :)

Here are some other pictures from this afternoon:

After Gus's afternoon nap we got ready to head to Raleigh for Jen's birthday celebration! We went to a bowling alley and took Gus with us. He was excited to walk around and check everything out. We gave Jen a picture frame with three pictures of her and Gus in each one. The first picture was from the day after we got home with him here in NC. Jen was the very first person to meet Gus in NC. Then the second one was from when we went to dinner for my birthday on October 2nd, and then the last picture was of her and Matt with Gus. She loved it.

We had pizza and watched while everyone bowled. We ended up staying for about two hours and then Gus was starting to wear down and need to go to bed. We said our goodbyes and came home. Here are other pictures from tonight:

See you tomorrow!!
