We had a pretty good day today. Gus was up earlier than I would have liked, but it all worked out.
He's such a happy little guy in the morning...
We went downstairs and had breakfast (cold pizza for me and applesauce and a cereal bar for Gus) and watched some television. I thought Desperate Housewives was on last night so I was super excited to see it this morning, but it's not on until THIS Sunday... so instead we watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
While we watched tv, Gus decided to do some farming. It was early afterall...
He and I played downstairs and then around 10:30 he was ready for a nap. So was I.
When I put him down, I came to the computer and found that the internet wasn't working. I sent Steve a text but he was in a meeting. Without being able to get online, I couldn't do any class stuff... so I decided to take a nap. It was much needed!
We got up around 12:30 and headed down for lunch. I made us grilled cheese sandwiches and while I was cooking, Gus had some fruit and some puffs.
The remainder of the afternoon was spent playing and listening to music.
I brought him back upstairs around 4 for another nap and he went down without a fight (YAY) and slept until 5:45.
I had a coupon code from Snapfish for 500 pictures for $5 and couldn't pass it up. Especially since we had just returned home from our MI/IN vacation. Anyway, the pictures came today... and instead of getting 500 I ended up with like 750. That's a lot of pictures!!! So I've got some set aside for quite a few friends and family... be on the look out for pictures!!!
I figured out how to reset the router (thanks to Steve's guidance) and was able to get online. However, I spent the time checking email and sorting pictures (instead of working). I saw that Chick-Fil-A is having a Mother-Son "Date Knight" dinner and I signed up for me and Gus to attend. It's October 3rd. I'm excited to take him on our first date! :-)
Steve got home and we talked, then Gus got up and we had dinner and then watched Ellen from today (she's so funny) and then it was bathtime for Gus.
Hobo enjoyed fresh tap water >^..^<
Tomorrow we've got The Little Gym at 10 and I'm excited for our first "official" class!! I hope it's as much fun tomorrow as it was last week!! Gus can now identify his mouth and belly! We've been working on body parts a lot lately, so it's awesome that he can show his belly and mouth when asked!
See you tomorrow!
