Day 6 :: Heading to Indiana

We headed out on Wednesday and stopped at Wal-Mart and Meijer to see about getting some Tigers gear for the boys before heading out of town. We had hoped to get a hat for Hugh, but couldn't find anything there. We were able to get a few shirts for the boys and for Steve.

We stopped in Albion to see Steve's college friends Mitch and Jess. We had a great visit with them and their girls played with Gus and Hugh and they all had fun together.

The visit was on the short side, because we had a bit of a drive ahead of us as we were headed to Indiana to spend the remainder of our trip with Steve's side of our family.

We found out that Steve's dad would not be home when we got there, and would not be home until later than we'd be up, so we stopped at Pizza King for dinner and then headed to the farm.

Let me tell you... I love all kinds of different styles of pizza. I like Brooklyn, Chicago, Detroit, and now have a new favorite that is only found in Indiana... Pizza King.

For the longest time, Steve has talked about Pizza King and that it was where all the kids hung out after school when he was in high school. I wasn't sure about how I would like it, but holy smokes... it was soooooo good!!! I mean, we had JUST had Buddy's the night before, and had Hungry Howie's not too many days before that. I was kinda over pizza (or so I thought). 

We decided that we'd celebrate our 9th anniversary once we returned home, but for our actual anniversary date, going to Pizza King with my three favorite humans was pretty awesome.

We arrived at the farm just in time to see the sun go down. We unpacked and turned in for an early night.
