This is a picture of my favorite dog... Ned Flanders Walker. He's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and he's almost seven. He's the world's greatest dog and I love him with all my heart.
We got Ned from a rescue thinking that he was a Golden Retriever. When we went to the house to meet him, he was cowering under the dining room table, and wouldn't come out. As soon as I saw him in person, I loved him. We took him home that day and he and I rode in the backseat together while Steve drove. I think that time is what bonded him to me forever, because he is most definitely MY dog. He loves me so much and follows me everywhere that I go.
Everyone should be so lucky as to have a pet as incredible and loving as Ned. I call him "Neddy Foo-Foo" and my parents call him, "Foo-Foo Dog." :)

Ned is lucky that you came along for him and I'm sure you are rewarded daily with love from him. What a great story and I love his smile!
What a beautiful face Ned has! Sounds like you two were meant to be! Great shot!
Ned is beautiful. He looks like a Golden Retriever to me - such a gorgeous happy face. My dog in my photo is a Golden Retriever/Samoyed and we 'rescued' him or did he rescue us? from a family who couldn't devote enough time and energy to him. We have had him for just over two months and love him so much it is ridiculous. Thanks for stopping by my entry this week!
What a beautiful dog-so huggable looking!
What a cutie! Great story about him!
Awwwww....sweet, happy face!
